Welcome to my web page!
I am Luis David Chancí-Arango, an Associate Professor of Economics at the Universidad Santo Tomás, Santiago de Chile. My current research agenda, funded by ANID (Fondecyt Iniciación No. 11250893) and developed in collaboration with Chile’s financial regulator (CMF), studies how bank interconnectedness shapes banking performance, risk, and responses to economic shocks (see Research). I have also developed extensive teaching materials, ranging from graduate-level econometrics to undergraduate courses such as introductory macroeconomics (see Teaching).
